An accredited high school, with Christ at the centre.
Muskoka Christian High School (MCHS) is the high school campus of Muskoka Christian School — one school, Kindergarten to Grade 12, under one board and Principal. We are an accredited high school with the Ontario Ministry of Education (BSID #880043).

Our mission
Muskoka Christian High School exists to provide exceptional Christian education, grounded in a biblical worldview, that nurtures students academically and spiritually.
Our core values are centring on Christ, teaching the truth, striving for excellence, and partnering with parents.
Learning at MCHS
Learning at MCHS happens in person, in small classes, and with intentional mentorship from the staff who teach. Each day begins at 8:40 with devotions, and students gather for chapel every other week for worship, scripture, reflection, and prayer.
We learn, grow, and serve in the community, exploring the Muskoka creation around us — its lakes, its forests, and its land. Service activities run through the whole year and culminate in a local service trip for Grades 9 and 10 and an overseas mission trip for Grades 11 and 12. In February and March, winter electives include downhill skiing, snowboarding, and rock climbing.
The Ontario Secondary School Diploma
MCHS grants the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). To graduate, students earn 30 credits, meet the provincial literacy requirement, and complete 40 hours of community involvement.
All courses are taught in person. In Grades 11 and 12, online courses can broaden a student’s options: they are chosen with the Principal and completed at school during a timetabled period, with a teacher supervising.
Courses offered in 2026–27 include English, mathematics, biology, chemistry, physics, Canadian history and geography, French, visual arts, healthy active living, technology and the skilled trades, philosophy, world religions, writer’s craft, recreation leadership, travel and tourism, and religious studies in the Old and New Testaments. Not every course runs every year.
Our story
The high school began in 2023 as Muskoka Christian Academy, at Muskoka Bible Centre. As it grew, it moved into Huntsville in 2024 — first to Cutter’s Edge, then to Harvest Church — and, having outgrown both, has relocated back to Muskoka Bible Centre for 2026–27, at Founders Hall.
Joining MCHS
Contact admissions@muskokachristianschool.com to begin. Families who enrol early (before May) are often eligible for a financial incentive, and financial aid is available — please ask the Principal. If your student has an IEP or a psycho-educational assessment, please share it at enrolment. Credits earned at other schools are reviewed as part of enrolment.
A school bus runs from Burk’s Falls through Emsdale, Huntsville, and our Port Sydney campus to Muskoka Bible Centre; families pay a monthly fee, which the school heavily subsidizes.
“My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” — Colossians 2:2–3
